This urn has been specially designed for a sea burial. The cremation ashes of a loved one can be respectfully committed to the water in an environmentally friendly way.

After placing the urn in the sea, it will float on the surface for a short time before gently sinking to the bottom in a dignified manner. Within a few days, the urn will naturally break down, providing a beautiful solution for a water burial or ash scattering ceremony.

No trees need to be cut down to make this urn. The paper is produced from the bark of the mulberry tree. The bark is carefully harvested from the tree, after which new bark grows back naturally. This is a fast-growing raw material that can be used again and again.

The bark is first cooked into a soft pulp. Flowers are then added to the mixture, for example, blossoms from the Ixora plant. These flowers give the urn its beautiful and unique appearance. The pulp is then hand-spread onto special frames. The paper dries in the sun and is further processed into an urn.

During production, great care is taken to ensure fair working conditions and environmental protection. This way, you can be confident that the product has been made responsibly.
